Is it OK to not go to college for a year and just work?

I’m a senior in high school, I’m about to go to clinicals for CNA class, next week. I don’t know exactly what I want to be for the rest of my life, I’ve been thinking of a lot of different medical jobs, (nurse, sonographer, physical therapist assistant, medical assistant..) but nurse/sonographer is out because I’m not smart enough.. I went and talked to a counselor at the community college and it disheartened me when she handed me the list of prerequisite classes for those. I am an utter failure at math & kind of science, so a lot of jobs are out.. and, there are two community colleges in my city but the one with the Physical Therapist assistant program is across town, and you have to apply the Winter PRIOR to the fall you are attending.. is it a good idea for me to just take a break after highschool and work as a CNA?.. or am I already messing up my life?..please help..
