HOW much should I be getting pd for this
I am a VERY experienced Certified nursing assistant.
I work privately in a in home setting. I work for a 90 yr. old and 95 yr. old.
My job is: scratching htis womens back for 1/2 an hour-45 minutes. DOING ALL housekeeping. (THEY OWN A DUPLEX) SO they have 3 bedrooms upstairs. I do ALL laundry, wash both of the couple that I care for up, do all their cares, set up Dr. appointments, go to their Dr. appointments. Order their pills, set up their pills. GO to the grocery store. Cook all meals.
-clean up the mess the girls make on the weekend that THEY don’t do. ( I do 2-3 loads of laundry/ day)
I also am now doing physical therapy (exercises) with one of my clients, among MANY MANY MORE things.
WHAT "should" I be getting paid.
Keep in mind I am a certified nursing assistant. Not a NURSE and I am passing pills, Not a therapist, yet I am doing therapy, not their family memeber yet I am feeling like it, since there dr. lives hundreds and hundreds of miles away. I do it all. I feel like their daughter.
I meant since their daughter lives so far away. I also am responsible for hiring new girls, doing the interviews. I was even made to call a girl at her other Job to see if she’d be interested in working for these people. NOT MY JOB!!
ACTUALLY a therapist came in and I DID design the exercise program!! AND THEY APPOROVED THank you. And the point is I am DOING ALL CNA skills, and the housekeeping is the extra that I have to do. I didn’t think I had to go into detail on home many times a day I wipe their ass, transfer them in an dout of bed. I said CNA work wich is pretty self explanitory. I DO ALL CARES, because the gentleman I work for cannot take care of himself at all. I do not have assistance in this I am on my own. YES he gets out of bed with assistance.
